ROCK Cultural Heritage leading urban futures project

Best Practices: Eindhoven in Skopje

We invite you to attend Open Day # 3 organised at the Skopje City Living Laboratory (SkULL), which is run by the City of Skopje and the Faculty of Architecture Skopje at UKIM. The Open Days are part of the activities that SkULL, as part of the ROCK project, organizes in order to involve the public in expressing their views on the situation in the Old Skopje Bazaar and the opportunities to revitalize this exceptional spatial, social, and historical part of the city.
Open Day # 3 will be organized as a workshop at the Skopje Live Laboratory (SkULL). It will be led by Marianne Willemsen from the city of Eindhoven together with the local ICT sector and local government representatives. The workshop participants will exchange views on current issues and opportunities within the Old Skopje Bazaar and will brainstorm how to tackle them through the application of advanced technologies. Their opinions and suggestions will help the institutions in planning their future activities and protecting heritage assets. Within the ROCK project, the workshop will also serve as a basis for defining the next open competition to collect ideas for the regeneration of Old Skopje Bazaar with the help of advanced technologies.
